Global Handle Registry

The Global Handle Registry is an operational service enabled by the DONA Foundation for clients to resolve prefix records. Prefix records contain information useful for clients to resolve identifiers (also known as handles) that are associated with various digital objects. While the Global Handle Registry service is normally expected to be interacted via software directly, we enabled a mechanism on this web page (below) to query for prefix records.
